In home dog training makes sense. After all, your dog’s worst behaviour problems aren’t happening iat a dog training facility. And besides, training your dog at home (and in the places you go together) makes it much easier for him to learn and more convenient for you too! Instead of you having to rush to a dog training class after work, our dog trainer will come to you and work with you at a time that works perfectly for you.

Go Dog Go! offers in-home/at-the-office/at-the-park private lessons for dogs and puppies. We’re based in Black Creek but offer services between Comox Valley, Campbell River and Port Hardy, BC. Our trainer also does virtual training sessions online wherever you have wifi or a cellular signal.

Apart from the convenience of private, in home dog training lessons, there are some compelling reasons to have our trainer come to you.

What Private Dog Training Looks Like

Simply reach out to us and book an appointment via our online booking system. Right away, we’ll unpack your case with you and get you started. When we arrive for your scheduled 90-minute appointment, we’ll perform a behavioral assessment and discuss your needs.

Then we’ll start changing your dog’s behavior with fun training games and exercises. You’ll receive a lesson plan that’s perfect for your unique situation. as well as a package of necessary resources. As your dog progresses through his custom training program, we’ll train your dog in the places you go together

First Session
includes a complete behaviour assessment, establishing training goals for your unique situation, and a clear plan for changing unwanted behaviour. You’ll get a custom behaviour change plan written just for you, along with carefully picked learning resources to help you. This session always begins in a familiar environment .

Subsequent Sessions
We’ll work through a progressive lesson and behaviour plan to achieve desirable behaviours, and get rid of undesirable behaviour. Training takes place at home or at locations throughout the community.

By the way, you’re welcome to split program fees with friends who want to join you for Rocket Recall, Dog Gone Good Manners, and Acrobatic Tricks lessons.

Virtual Dog Training Online

Virtual training allows you to get help from our multi-certified dog trainer anywhere you happen to be at a time that suits you.

Nowadays, technology makes it super easy to teach your via a virtual training session. You’ll just need a phone or any other mobile device that has a camera. Your trainer will send you a link and you’ll meet in real time for virtual online training via Zoom meetings

With each virtual consultation and lesson, you’ll enjoy the convenience of having a professional dog trainer at your fingertips, at a time that suits your schedule. It’s perfect for anxious and reactive dogs. You’ll say goodbye to unwanted behaviors while having a whole lot of fun with your dog.
